Osaka Sushi – the 10 Best Sushi Restaurants in Osaka

Osaka is the nation's kitchen and as such offers some of the country's best sushi. Take a look at our list of the 10 best sushi restaurants in Osaka for guidance.
Osaka is a vibrant city and – as you’d expect from “Japan’s kitchen” – full of mouthwatering food options. From street food to Michelin-starred, Osaka’s got it all, including, of course, a multitude of sushi restaurants. To find the best, use our guide to the 10 best sushi restaurants in Osaka:
1) Endo Sushi
Having been serving fresh sushi for more than 100 years, Endo Sushi have had a lot of practice. Unsurprisingly, this, the original branch in Osaka Central Market, is one of the best sushi places in Japan. Customers can choose from a selection of fixed sushi sets (five pieces) from the menu or simply order an omakase set which leaves it to the chef’s discretion. The queues outside, often starting from as early as 5 am, are as good an indicator as any of the quality on offer here.
